What everyone knows about SEO

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), is a synonym of visibility. For many people SEO means more visitors for their websites. But more people on my website is just useless, unless they make me earn money, right ?

This post show you the 3 main ways that a search engine like Google consider to rank your website.

Today, everyone knows that the first optimisation on a website is to build SEO friendly pages.
And everyone knows how to do that : using headings (h1, h2…), page title, place the keywords at the top, repeat the same keywords % times in a same paragraph…

So everyone do that.
From your point of view, what are the other points a search engine could consider to rank a website ?

3 steps to rank higher

Those 3 steps are just common sense, they break all SEO myths:

  1. Age of the website (”Since how long this website is writing about soap ?”)
  2. Number of backlinks (Especially links from another high ranked website, for sure)
  3. Is the website “fresh” (New content added, updates, …)

All these steps are the roots of SEO.

Let’s work on it !
