SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), is a synonym of visibility. For many people SEO means more visitors for their websites. But more people on my website is just useless, unless they make me earn money, right ?

This post show you the 3 main ways that a search engine like Google consider to rank your website.

Today, everyone knows that the first optimisation on a website is to build SEO friendly pages.
And everyone knows how to do that : using headings (h1, h2…), page title, place the keywords at the top, repeat the same keywords % times in a same paragraph…

Why create this Blog ?

My last employer was Pierre-André Pochon, CEO of Leadformance, a start-up company specialized in online ROI.
My Boss told me a story one day :

One of his friend, who owns a restaurant at a Ski Resort (Arêches Beaufort, Savoie, France), recently decided to changed its menu.
Selling refined meals, typical Savoie dishes, he was spending a lot of time on cooking, but loving it.
The flaw is… Too much time spending on cooking, too much money spending in high quality ingredients…

His business gave him small revenue with great effort.
He changed his menu. He now serves hamburgers in porcelain plates.
Same hamburgers as McDonald’s, but in porcelain plates.

All of the customers are really happy : “good” food, fast service…
So is he : less time cooking, more time counting money.
